Meet Becca

Kia ora, I'm Becca O'Leary - a practicing New Zealand Registered Midwife, trained Hypnobirthing practitioner and mum of two. Over the past 10 years, I've had the privilege of supporting hundreds of families through pregnancy, birth and the early weeks of parenthood.

During my eight years as a Lead Maternity Carer, I saw firsthand the difference comprehensive antenatal education could make. Parents who understood what was happening in their bodies often felt more confident, were better able to work with their labour, made more informed decisions, and felt better prepared to navigate unexpected birth pathways, establish feeding, and transition into parenthood.

At the same time, I recognised that routine antenatal appointments simply didn't allow enough time to provide every family with the depth of education I knew could make a real difference. I believe every parent deserves access to trusted, practical, evidence-based antenatal education. That's why I created My Little Kiwi.
