Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the My Little Kiwi website, online courses, downloadable resources, gift cards, in-person antenatal classes, and any other products or services provided by MLK Antenatal Limited ("My Little Kiwi", "we", "our", or "us").

By accessing our website, purchasing a product or service, or attending a class, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. General

  • All prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

  • Payment options available at checkout may include debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, Afterpay, PayPal, Shop Pay, or other supported payment methods. Available payment options may vary from time to time.

  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of purchase will apply.

2. Online Courses

Course Access

  • Access to online courses is granted for the period specified on the relevant course sales page at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, course access expires 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • Course access is intended for the purchaser and their partner/support person within the same household only.

  • Course access may not be shared, transferred, copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.

Platform Changes

  • We may update, modify, or change the platform used to deliver our online courses from time to time.

  • If this occurs, participants with active course access will continue to receive access to the course content for the remainder of their purchased access period.

  • Reasonable notice and instructions will be provided where any action is required to maintain access.

Course Updates

  • We reserve the right to update, expand, modify, replace, or remove course content, resources, bonus materials, interviews, community features, or website functionality at any time to improve the learning experience.

  • Such updates do not entitle participants to a refund.

Third-Party Offers

  • Partner discounts, bonus resources, affiliate offers, and third-party services may change or be withdrawn at any time and are not guaranteed for the duration of a participant's course access period.

Refunds

  • Due to the digital nature of online courses, refunds are generally not available once course access has been provided, except where required under New Zealand consumer law.

3. Downloadable Resources

  • Downloadable products and digital resources are provided for personal use only.

  • Resources may not be copied, reproduced, resold, distributed, shared publicly, uploaded to AI training platforms, or used to create competing educational products without prior written permission.

  • Due to the digital nature of these products, refunds are generally not available once access has been granted, except where required by law.

4. Gift Cards

  • Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Gift cards may only be redeemed against eligible My Little Kiwi products or services.

  • Lost, stolen, expired, or unused gift cards will not be replaced, refunded, or extended unless required by law.

5. In-Person Antenatal Classes

Payments & Refunds

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure a place.

  • Bookings may be cancelled for a full refund less a $25 administration fee if cancellation is requested at least 48 hours before the commencement of the first class.

  • Refund requests due to pregnancy-related medical circumstances will be considered at any time prior to the commencement of the course. A medical certificate may be requested.

  • Once the course has commenced, bookings are non-refundable.

  • No refunds, credits, or partial refunds will be provided for missed classes or sessions not attended.

Attendance & Missed Sessions

  • Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions.

  • If a participant is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, My Little Kiwi should be notified as soon as practicable.

  • Where appropriate, temporary access to relevant online course content may be provided to assist with missed material.

  • Such access is provided at My Little Kiwi's discretion and does not create any entitlement to refunds, credits, or replacement classes.

Transfers & Waitlists

  • Requests to transfer to an alternative in-person class intake may be considered where places are available.

  • Transfer requests are not guaranteed and are subject to My Little Kiwi's discretion and class availability.

  • Where a class is fully booked, participants may request to be placed on a waitlist.

  • Placement on a waitlist does not guarantee a place in a future class.

  • My Little Kiwi reserves the right to determine the order in which available spaces are offered.

Class Changes & Cancellations

  • My Little Kiwi reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, relocate, or make reasonable changes to class dates, facilitators, venues, or course delivery methods where necessary.

  • Where insufficient participant numbers prevent a class from proceeding, participants will be offered one of the following:

    • Transfer to a future in-person class (subject to availability);

    • Access to the My Little Kiwi online antenatal course with reimbursement of any applicable price difference; or

    • A full refund.

  • If a facilitator becomes unavailable due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, My Little Kiwi may appoint an alternative facilitator, reschedule the session, provide equivalent online content, or offer another reasonable alternative.

Photography & Marketing

  • From time to time, photographs or video recordings may be taken during classes, workshops, events, or related activities for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes.

  • Participants will be given the opportunity to opt out of appearing in photographs or video recordings and may notify My Little Kiwi at any time if they do not wish to be included.

  • Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate requests not to appear in photographs or recordings.

  • Testimonials, reviews, feedback, survey responses, and course evaluations submitted to My Little Kiwi may be used for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes unless the participant specifically requests otherwise.

  • Any photographs or videos provided directly to My Little Kiwi by participants will only be used with the participant's permission.

6. Educational & Medical Disclaimer

  • All information provided through our website, online courses, downloadable resources, social media channels, gift card promotions, and in-person classes is intended for educational and informational purposes only.

  • Our content is designed to support informed decision-making but is not a substitute for individual medical, midwifery, nursing, or other healthcare advice.

  • Participants should seek advice from their own lead maternity carer, doctor, or other healthcare professional regarding their personal circumstances.

  • Views expressed by guest speakers, interviewees, or external contributors are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of My Little Kiwi.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All course content, videos, worksheets, guides, downloadable resources, branding, graphics, text, and educational materials remain the intellectual property of MLK Antenatal Limited unless otherwise stated.

  • Content may not be copied, reproduced, recorded, distributed, modified, resold, uploaded to AI training tools, or used to create competing educational products without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • While every effort is made to ensure information provided is accurate, current, and evidence-based, My Little Kiwi does not guarantee specific pregnancy, birth, feeding, parenting, or health outcomes.

  • Participants remain responsible for decisions relating to their own healthcare and the care of their baby.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, MLK Antenatal Limited shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, cost, or claim arising directly or indirectly from participation in our services or reliance on information provided.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
